Mexico’s foreign minister: Paying for border wall ‘totally unacceptable’

(CNN)Mexico’s top diplomat has said the proposition that his government would buy President Donald Trump’s planned boundary wall was “totally unacceptable,” leading to the cancellation of both nations’ leaders’ first assembly.

Mexico’s President Enrique Pea Nieto canceled a meeting with Trump that had been set for next week after renewed tensions erupted over Trump’s strategy to create a wall on the boundary.
